In the past 18 months Duncan has been our biggest -selling artist, attracting buyers from around the world. His paintings are now in many important collections in the UK, USA, France, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, India, UAE and Lebanon.

Following a protracted illness at the beginning of this year, Duncan has consciously changed his style of painting, working mainly in oil paints rather than acrylic, and moving away from pointedly upbeat and optimistic subjects to more nuanced paintings. The dream-like atmosphere remains, and the influence of Bonnard and the Post-Impressionists sits alongside the Pop artists, but in many regards this new series of works marks a return to, or perhaps a continuation of, his more narrative, more atmospheric style of painting from a few years ago.
