Alikhanzadeh was born in Tehran, Iran in 1967. She then graduated from Azad University, studying Painting, where she continued her MFA studies in Painting at Azad University. She has had solo exhibitions in the Golestan Gallery in Tehran, Iran in 1999, 2001, 2004, 2005 and 2008.
